Here is Lake Mead, the largest man made lake in North America, which is the collector lake for the Hoover Dam. Odd fact: Hoover Dam obviously generates a huge amount of hydro electricity and it supplies power to parts of Nevada, Arizona and California, however NONE of the power it generates goes to Las Vegas, which is probably the biggest continuously running light bulb in the world.
